Children at Knypersley First School are nurtured and inspired to develop confidence, independence and resilience in an environment where their efforts are valued. Staff enable all children to flourish and throughout their time, pupils are empowered to live, work, play and succeed together.

Pupil Leadership Teams – leadership starts with our children
From leading their own learning in classrooms to representing their school in the town council offices, such opportunities develop an understanding of core school values. Knypersley’s mission statement ‘Learning together, Learning for Life’ has a positive impact on pupil mental health and wellbeing.

Active community members
Knypersely believe in the importance of encouraging pupils to be active members of their local community. During the Autumn Term children have represented school during a number of community events such as Remembrance Day, Macmillan Coffee Event and carol singing on the Town Hall steps and local care home.

Leadership groups fundraising
During this Term their leadership groups alongside the PTFA have worked
together to raise money for a number of charity organisations.

In total this term school have raised and donated over £1,150.
