Joined CFLP in April 2025

Marlfields Primary School is a small school with a nursery in the heart of Congleton town. Within our school, we place a strong emphasis on getting to know and understand the needs of each individual child. Our school motto is ‘Where Children Come First’, which encompasses the values of our dedicated members of staff. Our staff know each child, whether they teach them or not, and put them at the heart of all they do.

Our school has substantial grounds, with large classrooms, outdoor spaces, forests and an allotment. We are an inclusive school, and we recognise the uniqueness of each child, encouraging them to be happy, confident learners. Our resource base provision allows us to have trained staff to provide interventions which benefit all children, enabling them to thrive. We place a great emphasis on encouraging children to be proud of who they are, achieving their potential at Marlfields and in their lives beyond school.

Marlfields Primary was rated Requires Improvement in an Ofsted inspection in March 2024. Please note this inspection took place before the school joined our Trust.
